I had a Palestinian boyfriend from Ramallah, in Jerusalem in the 80's. I was a young, naiv Scandinavian travelling with a backpack. I remember he said he don't like anything else about the Israelis exept their music. He listened constantly to Israeli artists and sang along with the songs and taught me the lyrics and the meanings(I spoke no Hebrew and no Arabic at that time)

The man who said he likes that Israel has good relations with India, Europe, America, Russia and that the Palis don't have the recources for it(to have good relations with many other countries); it doesn't requier money or fame or much knowledge or technology to have good relations, it's all about how they interact, how they listen to others, how they co-live with others, how they are ready to let their children interact and befriend others, how NOT to constantly speak about themselves as victims but to do the best about the situation. I am 100% sure that the Palis could have made a good name about themselves and befriend other countries and become a likeable people but they never tried or cared to do that. It was allways the mentality of constant complaining and their hate for the Jews that destroyed their chances to be liked and respected around the world.

@timesup6302 Actually, I didn't know much about Israelis and Palis at that time, to me they were all "from Israel", but when I left him and started dated a Jewish guy I realized the HUGE difference in everything; the lifestyle, the freedom, the happiness the educational differences...and I started to read about the history, got more interested in Israel's history than my own country's😆

@Israelpwn I do, because it started well but turned out to be a sad life for me. He started to demand me to stay in the house, not go out alone, not say hello or goodmorning or thankyou to any male person exept if they were like 80 years old, and so much more. But I must say one positive thing: I got to see so many Palestinian families, eat with them or have coffee/tea with them, and they were all lovely, I have nothing bad to say about them, BUT they spoke bad and mean about Israelis to their children, like playful but meaning it 100%, for exampel they'd say to a cute little baby "hamoudi, you are going to be strong and you are going to kick the Israelis out from here when you grow up, remember that", and the small kids were playing that they had guns and shot Israelis, and everyone smiled and said "yeah, right, good". I never ever saw that in Israeli families exept during the war when Irak attacked Israel in 91-92

@QueenQaffir Yes, but this guy I dated wasn't religious, he never prayed or talked about religion BUT he used to say he'll have to get religious before he dies😁

@grasmereguy5116 Hi, no I'm not in Israel anymore, I long to go back one last time to travel around, but I don't know if that will happen. Yes, I turned around and became pro-Israel, I learned enough about the history to understand the truth💙🤍

@grasmereguy5116 True, but with the situation going on in Israel now I guess people react very strong. What's interesting in this case is that this guy I was dating had a Jewish best friend! They were together very often and we visited him and his Jewish gf and they visited us! I didn't think much of it back then but now I understand how uncommon it must have been!

@rosameijering5161 Yes I did! We stayed together for many years until we grew apart or something. I was happy to live by myself and have lived bymyself for over 20 years😀and happy with it❤️

@QueenQaffir Yes but I am.mixing the wars and rulers/presidents of different Muslim countries, I was in Israel during the war 91-92, it was Irak that attacked Israel, not Libya as I first said, I corrected it!

@ShemmyVaknin I wonder too, maybe because Israelis are the same "threat" to us now as before; the intelligence, the ability of turning everything into gold, every business, investment, technology...people tend to be "scared" of peoole who make money out of nothing! But really, I don't know.

The truth in my case was that I didn't know, beeing childish and naive and blonde, that as soon as we got married my life would be inside the home, not talking to ANYONE, expect few selected females that he chose for me to speak with. I suffered one whole year and then I left.

@grevisse6757 In my country in Scandinavia we have lots of Indian dentists and doctors, but all the Middle-east "refugees" are uneducated and made problems in school and disrespected everyone from day one. We have Asian immigrants and refugees who immidiately studied the language and got education and each one of them work or run businesses. The Middleeast-men are not interested in high educations. All they are interested in is to gather in flocks and shout about Palestine, or about the bad or good regime in their countries. We have no interest in those kind of people, they bring nothing to our countries. Then we have Jews who all work and have businesses in our countries, who never make any fuzz about themselves, just live quiet peaceful lives.
