  4.  @cupotkaable  Thankyou for the explanation, it's very interesting, and I must say first of all that by having ONE school you absolutely don't have to kill a culture or language or traditions, you just have to be specific with valuing and celebrating each of the two or three religions that are the main religions in the country, so in Israel it would be the Jewish and the Muslim religion and tradition and cultures, every child would respect and look forward to celebrating his classmates religion without having to participate in the religious stuff like praying. Just learning about them in a positive way. As a history lesson. Imagine that generation of children grow up and sending their own kids to a similar school, after two or three generations there would be only respectful people living in Israel, with no need to "take over" or to feel they are better than the other one. After all these people all love and cherish the same country but they would learn to love it without the need of pushing the other one down because many would end up marrying one from the other culture and by time Jews and Muslims would be mixed peacefully and they would start talking about "imagine how our people used to fight each other"?! But the radical religious people who are allowed to have the last word in everything; would not allow this school-system EVER, because of their religion wich will stand in the way for peace for ever. Isn't it ironic how keeping a religion "clean" is more important than creating peace?!

  5.  @cupotkaable  Sounds difficult yes, and okay, the free holidays would have to be only for the ones who belongs to the specific religion. But in Scandinavia the schools are secular, Muslims and Christians in same buildings and classrooms and Muslims beeing thought about Islam(we are forced to if there are more than a few Muslims in a school) and getting other food if there is pork on the menue. Celebrating both holidays, but of course many Muslims are forbidden by their parents to attend Christmas-celebrations. Sadly some schools leave out religious texts in the Christmas songs just so that Muslims won't be "offended" wich is ridiculous, no Muslim country would go down on their knees for a bunch of Christian kids moving there! But the point is; Israel COULD do it, if they separated religion from their government, allowing culture-lessons and language-lessons for ALL but the religious parts would remain only for those who believe in that religion. Because your country contains two main religions, you should learn to respect both! We in Europe are feeling forced to accept Muslims in our schools and they actually do melt in IF there are not too many of them in one school and IF they start from kindergarten or first class. The problem starts when they come in flocks and jump in at different ages in our schools and have to build up a "tough, scary" attitude to become accepted in an allready very European-minded culture. Much better to start this mix of culture from first class or from day-care. You have a chance to do that in Israel!!! But you are too religious to allow it!!!!
