If I would be a Palestinian mom living there,I would teach my children to STUDY their life out of occupation and distress. I would tell them that the key to success is STUDY. Don't waste your life on hate and bad mood and negativity. Just STUDY more than the neighbours kids, more than the whole class, get yourself a degree and be needed in this country and in this world. Then you are free to go and live where you want when everyone needs you to work for them!

@pali4ever778 At a checkpoint? Do they go outside the checkpoints to school, not inside the checkpoints? Or do you mean later in life when they go to study to a degree? But then they can live in the city they study in, can't they? And go home on weekends

@pali4ever778 I lived in Israel in the 80's and 90's, there were no three hour checkpoints, they went to school inside Gaza, I knew many Palestinians,they were friendly,normal people but oh so much hate-talk at home with the children about Israel. The children had no way to make their own minds about the situation, it was forced on them, the aggressivity for Israel was taught to the children. If they had taught math or biology or language in the same way, those children would have been more educated than any other children in the world.

@pali4ever778 yes I understand all that, but I'm only talking about beeing in school,study,I don't think they have to go througha the checkpoints to get to their school.

@y019_9 wrong, the Israelis are the ones in danger, right now terrorists killed people in a synagog,but I'm sure you didn't care to read about that, and then you wonder why the israelis go out and demolish the "poor" terrorist's families homes?! The terrorists don't care a bit about their own families; they KNOW thei sraelis will take some kind of revenge on them but they don't care, they don't have strong familybonds like other people have. I wouldn't do ANYTHING that would affect my parents or children or grandparents in a horrible way, I love them too much.
