I visited Auschwitz about 7 years ago, it was incredible sad to walk around there as a tourist, knowing the people who had to be there were scared,hungry,hurting,sad,terrified, while I walked around on a full stomach, safe, could walk out through that gate at anytime..When I walked up the stairs in the houses and saw the steps that millions had walked up and down, I could see their terrified faces so cclearly infront of me,as if they are still walking up and down those stairs. I guess if you are a normal person with empathy, you will all feel like I did, but if you are born cold and without ability of feeling empathy, you don't understand what I'm describing.
