@robertjensen1048 everyone chooses himself how much they are ready to risk,I am very careful in traffic, that's my biggest fear, too many people die in the traffic each day. But I must say we MUST be in traffic,we can't avoid it, but we CAN avoid climbing in mountains and jumping with parachutes.

How did you get to that conclusion? That she saved her sons life? He was wearing a lifejacket so he wasn't going to drown anyway.

"we are all close to make that same mistake ourselves"???? NO we are not. Normal, educated people do not DRINK AND DRIVE. It takes a careless, useless, me,me,me-person to do that. She is not safe to have in our society. She would do it again and again if she was let out while she's young.

What exactly doesn't add upp? She got covid,had a baby by c-section, was very weak after c-section and her body couldn't fight the covid off,wich it could have or might have done if she hadn't just had a c-section. I was so wesk and sick after my c-sektion, I would probably have died from a little cold..

When will people learn that there are cameras watching you all over??? I would never do any criminal thing out of fear that I would end up on Youtube looking like a jerk and millions of people would write nasty things about me and my relatives and co-workers would recognize me and instead of going home to my cozy little home I'd have to get used to prisonlife...

I don't know..I don't think the parents deserves life in prison, not by any means. On the contrary, I'd like them to come out and hear what became of their children once they were given their life and freedom back. I'd like the thought that the parents would be alone without their by then, grown up kids, and living the rest of their lifes by themselves. After all they didn't murder their children, and some of those who murder only get like 25-40 years...why should the Turpins get life?! Yes they are horrible parents, absolutely horrible, but let them come out once the youngest Turpin-child turns 18..

So many people here seem to assume and even hope there to be something suspicious about this woman drowning. How impossible is it for a person to drown? She took her lifejacket off(big mistake in hindsight) went to swim,maybe got a cramp,maybe dived and got caught underneath as I read there are so much things in that water that can catch you,or maybe she had a seizure while in the water? People drown all the time,I would focus more on why and how small children drown in the pools in their backyards all the time,why isn't there more investigations about that?? THAT sounds suspicious to me. How on earth you have a pool outside your house and don't watch your kid 24/7, and have an alarm that tells you the second something or someone falls in??

So the Turpin children went from one pair of abusing parents to another???? Might as well have stayed with the first ones; their parents. You know, I believe if the Turpin parents had gotten a short time in jail only,and then gotten back to their children, they might have been good parents. I think they would have understood what they had done and they would have turned a new chapter in their life. They could have gotten parental-classes and supervisioned parental rights. I think they could have become "normal".

But, we all condemn people whith extreme hobbies, because they might die, but no one(except me) condemns people who deliberately kills themselves(suicide) so why is it wrong to do a hobby that is dangerous,and people are allowed to talk bad about you for doing so, but we are not supposed to say a bad word about a person who hangs or shoots himself,or jumps down from a roof because he WANTS to get away from his wife,kids,parents???? I personally think a dangerous hobby is better, there is a big chance that you survive, while in suicide there is NO chance,you just die and leave everyone behind with exact the same grief and trauma as the one who was climbing for fun but fell down and died BY MISTAKE.

I am so terribly sorry for the parents,siblings,grandparents of the two little boys😢 I am also sad for the drivers parents, must be absolutely horrible for them also,to be in this situation.

 @anthonydiaz9337 if this was in Finland she'd get like 1,5years wich would be cut to half for good behaviour and then again half of it for beeing a first-timer. So don't complain.

Lots of people don't get covid even if their spouse has it. I know a few. Not everyone catches it very easy,maybe because of bloodgroup or vitamins or whatever,some just don't seem to catch the virus. The woman dies from covid,she was apparently very weak after the c-sektion and her body couldn't fight the virus.
