  14. I had the first signs of it after my son's birth, I just wanted to cry a few days after his birth and I felt the loneliest I have ever felt. But I had reaf,just before my pregnancy,about postpartum depression and I immidiately knew that was what I was developing. I said to myself HELL NO! and took my baby and went out for a long walk, just thinking NEVER, NOT ME!!!! After that, knowing what it was, I went out for walks,one hour walks, everytime it came over me. It lasted only a couple of weeks, I realized I needed to be in motion, I took the train to the big city spent hours walking around with my baby in the stroller, sat in cafeterias,fighted back and ot tptally disappeared. I realized I needed fresh air and things to do,not allow myself to be a prisoner in my house with a newborn. And I was single, no help,just depending on myself. Never used babysitters,took my baby EVERYWHERE and loved it after those first few weeks. Never took medicines. People: go out for one or two hour walks with the baby, leave the car at home,!!!! Get out from the house,go visite friends,go to coffeeplaces but keep your baby with you!

  15. I was thinking from day one that the other four children has the knowledge to when the boys disappeared. HOW did the "parents" think that the other kids wouldn't tell the investigators the truth? I am very surprised that the so called "parents" didn't murder the other kid as well, so that they wouldn't reveal the truth. I guess they would have murdered them if they had had the time and opportunity to do so.

  19.  @LilAnnThrax  ah,okay, well, yes I read somewhere else also that after a couple of years lifetimers adapts to beeing inside and doesn't think much about the life outside anymore, or doesn't miss it like we'd expect them to do. But if that is true then the whole "lifetime" sentence doesn't really do any good, I mean the prisoners are supposed to regret and want out, otherwise it is not enough punishment for them, don't you think?

Most mothers who are "bad" mothers(drugs or neglect or running arojnd with new boyfriends every weekend leaving the kids with friends or family) dress their kids goid, they buy them exiencive outfits,new haircuts, toys, just to fool us. "If my child looks clean and nice then everyone thinks I am a good mother"-mentality. We have wonderful mothers with dirty shaggy kids but they do stuff together as a family,go on small trips,picnics and they love to be mothers. So I know first hand that having clean welldressed chindren does NOT make you a good,caring mother!

  30. Still, I don't understand why the two brothers didn't just pack their things and disappear and start a new life far, far away? Were they thinking that the inheritance was more important than their freedom? Just walk out one morning after the parents have gone out and never return. I am NOT saying the parents didn't deserve to die but I'm saying the BOYS deserved to live. They were old enough to survive and let their hair and beard grow and not be recognized and live in the streets if they couldn't find a home to live in. Anything had been better than murder. For other victims out there; don't murder, you will be hunted down And arrested, just disappear, see it as an adventure, later in life you can write a book about your life and encourage others not to choose murder but freedom. Too many people thinks murder is the solution to just about anything, we need to change that.

Chris, I know what you mean, I was heartbroken when my last son left home at 18, but I immidiately started looking for a new home for me, in a big city, to start a new life and build new memories! I moved 2months after my son, best solution I could have done, I am very happy that I came up with that idea, I live in a small cozy one-room+kitchen apartment and love it! The luxury of beeing single, if I had had a husband I would have been trapped in my home alone and sad but beeing single I can do what I want! So sad that you felt you had to stay at home but you probably managed to save some money on that wich is good.

And, hang something very heavy on the inside door-knob/handle, with a metallic trey under; if a burglar opens the door from the outside, the heavy object will fall down and the noise WILL wake you up! Also, keep your door to your own room where you sleep LOCKED. I read about a woman who woke up in the night with an intruder standing in her room, she did survive but she said she would never again sleep with her rooms door open and unlocked.

But apparently they didn't, was he too fast jumping from victim to victim, or did he first do something to them like slashing their throuths one by one so they couldn't scream,and then stabb them one by one? She should have planned it better though, escaped and sneaked away and start a new life in hiding. She looks average, average height and body, she could have made it with wigs and different kind of clothes and glasses.

She might have known that it would affect her family in a way that she didn't want to experience, she might have been very immature for her age, there is so much we don't know and to dwell on her tragedy now is mean and ridiculous, it's her and her family's tragedy and concequences after all, and we have no rights to even know about it, especially not their faces and names. Many other young girls/women will end up doing the same thing unfortunately, and not everyone will be discovered.

I will never believe that N.was not involved, more things point to that, than at her NOT beeing involved. How they let her off this case just like that is a mystery..also to those of you who believe every single word that Chris has said about the murders of his children; remember he also said there is one detail he will NEVER reveal,he will take it to his grave..that detail could be a)Nicole was involved, b)someone else was involved, c)something about the childrens deaths or what actually happened at the oil-site, d)he killed someone BEFORE these murders, perhaps he killed a few even?.. or of course it could be e) something we have no clue about.   93. Yes, but if they were able to come up with a murder-plan then perhaps they could have come up with a "run-away-plan" instead? Why can an abused child not take the step to open the door and get a bus-ticket(if not having a car) to another state and even sleep on the streets in the beginning until he manages to get a place to live, but instead he manages easily to commit murder??? Is murder that much easier than to vanish for good? To vanish and leave their parents with a letter telling them what awful parents they were+ the embarrassement for the parents to know that the boys might tell on them.. and for the parents never to know what became of the boys, did they marry, have children, succeed... would have been much more punishment than to murder them.

But as it makes no difference it seems, people murder their families anyway, all the time in America, knowing they'll get deathpenalty if they get caught but it doesn't stop them. And also, death penalty is better of course for the murderer, who'd even want to be buried alive in prison for life??? I would beg for death penalty rather than spend my life locked up in a prison.
