  4.  @Orinatl  I understand you compleately,I agree with you but there is still a difference here, first; the boys mother died, second; they needed their dad after that as they were still so young, and third; they were maybe compleately unaware of what was going on with their parents at that time, they might not have understood at all how much hurt their dad and his mistress caused to their mom. And fourth; they were not just anyone, they were in the center of the world, they did what they were told to and acted as they thought they should act. Of course this all made them form a strong bond with their only parent they had left and at the same time a bond with Camilla who of course knew exactly how to act to get their trust. Now they are adults and they could choose different but the bond to their dad is too strong to break I guess and that is understandable as they also have to act mature in front of peoples eyes. BUT noone would judge them if they now(or 10 yrs ago) would turn their back on the mistress, now that they have learned how much she hurted their mother. Thats what I don't understand; how can they accept her now that they have read eberything about their parents since the day their mom met their dad? or haven't they? maybe their dad and mistress(doesnt matter if he married her,she is always gonna be remembered as Charles mistress,Diana was his wife)brainwashed them to not believe in anything their mom went through? could that be it? and for the record, you have no obligations to be the one cleaning up your dads messes with his mistresses!! Let him handle it,why do you even bother to befriend them?! Even if they are innocent you should not drag yourself into it,it doesn't hurt your dad in any way,he probably is happy that you are around to comfort his mistresses even if it means you tell them the truth about him at the same time..but we are all outsiders after all,I guess we should let them do and behave as they wish but it is quite natural to be interested and questioning famous people, especially this case where we all who are over middle age were adults and fully aware of what was going on long before the princes were aware of it. We knew Diana long before her sons knew her, that makes us feel part of her sadness.
