My Mother had a Cataract operation in 2022 ....when she went for the check up , the letter said "Please Wear A Mask" ...when she went in to see the Consultant he took her mask off and threw it in the bin saying .... "you shouldn't be wearing a mask due to the risk of bacterial infection in your eyes" .
