The problem is, nearly every English dialect pronounces the sample words differently (eg yawn = ä ~ ɑ ~ ɒ ~ ɔ ). Really need to get IPA installed on phone keyboards. Would benefit japanese too 😅

In America, I noticed the opposite. Sure they were joking, but when I suggested something, they shook their heads no and said "aww, bless your heart." Think that's Texan for "you're such a sweet little dumbazz." 😅🤠

I'd love to watch an in depth of the Japanese and Korean languages the way he does English. Not just the what, but the why.

Jaana is good for bye (see ya). Wouldn't use with the boss though 😊 Chōtto is a polite way of saying no (very indirect). 😮 (Sou) demo nai & naiyo are both good for no, but I would save for friends. 🫡 \_(ツ)_/

@quebecpower978 While I'm biased, the speaking is much much easier than the writing for newcomers. Even I had "fun" learning all the kanji.

While I hate to correct you in your native(?) language, japanese has no alphabets, apart from Romaji. Hiragana and Katakana are syllabaries (like cherokee); kanji (Chinese characters) are characters (ideograms, etc). すみません🙇♂️

@garyrumain9808 Take a 💩 uh? 🤣 Heard that butchered, but think they were feigning ignorance for a laugh.

@andrewmole745 he should totally do a video in that with English subtitles. Remember watching a comedy about this one guy getting upset that everytime he talked, the subtitles would show up but not for anyone else who spoke "proper" English. 😅

Did you use the traditional or new hanzi? Did the younger or older understand better? Thank you. 謝謝 / 谢谢
