  4. Canada employs a FPTP voting system rather than proportional representation. This means the Conservative or liberal party will more than likely get a majority in parliament despite only getting 22% of the vote. FPTP (used in the US too) has candidates win with 15% of the vote as long as no one else gets a higher percentage.

  5. ​@FlameG102 Always wondered why the left in some countries (the right secretly supports to lower wages domestically) wants more immigration. The left once supported stronger unions, higher pay, and nationalised social services; now they are silent or just give lip service to unions. The left (labour parties) have become the conservative parties of yesteryear.
