Agreed. Why do even nordic model economies not hold housing in the same category of necessary free and universal Social service as education and healthcare are (in many 1st world countries)? One can die of exposure or suffer mental issues from lack of housing. There should be a national housing service.

@hippocleides7105 The pensioners paid into that. It's called payroll tax in many countries. The govt just chooses not to fund it properly.

@ronald3836 John Oliver had a great video clip from the 60s. "Our new robotic slaves". Automation is the new slavery 😅

Always wondered why the left in some countries (the right secretly supports to lower wages domestically) wants more immigration. The left once supported stronger unions, higher pay, and nationalised social services; now they are silent or just give lip service to unions. The left (labour parties) have become the conservative parties of yesteryear.

Welfare kings and Queens. They leech off their families and contribute little, if any, draining their families' economy. Further, families and state funds are redirected towards their education and away from other uses. 😂

Obsolescence of goods contributes. If we had removable chips and other accessories that could be traded in for newer ones, wouldn't that be better?

Could you please do a video on why even nordic model mixed market economies don't consider housing a free and universal resource like healthcare and education? I've always wondered that. Housing is more immediate for many than medical care or education. You can die from exposure or suffer mental issues.
