  16. I have seen in many cases people just leaving the AC all day like they are living in hotels. Try being more frugal and lower your living standard to a more affordable level. Stop wasting food, gas and electricity. Afterall, US has one of the world's cheapest utility rates, gas and food prices in the world. I can't teach you how to cook for yourselves or live frugally so you'll have to learn it yourself though your own carelessness. It appears that privatization has no effect on demand and being a human is not entirely free of cost. So don't go blaming electric companies because they are providing a service.
