  1. Crypto mining is really unnecessary. It is just a mechanism to unlock bitcoins. It's no different from issuing small amounts of bitcoins to the market at a scheduled time in order to regulate its demand. It's regulation is actually harming our environment, burning up resources without real economic output and taking resources away. If I were to start a bitcoin issuance, I will issue 100 bitcoin at a time at $1 and scale it up as the demand grows. There wouldn't be a need to mine.
