My son decided not to go to academia after the high school. He has A+ high school certificate and 140 IQ but now he works as a worker for under 20$/h and spends all his money on housing (dark studio), an old car and a laptop. He has no perspectives at all in any direction. He doesn't want to speak with me about it because he is very upset I guess.
