  7. Quantity of wars is decreasing because 1) the mightier states suppress militarisation of smaller groups + 2) modern warfare demands more skills and money as earlier. If not the USA, a rich sponsor of smaller militant groups and proxi states all over the world, we would have even less wars. Military sponsorship of the USA was the main reason for long and devastating wars in Afghanistan, Syria, Irak, Libya, Ukraine and now Israel. The next big wars occur again with USA "friends" f.e. Taiwan, Philippines, Moldova usw.
