I'm not a fan of Shojgu. He is an uncultured martinet. He is disliked by Russian honest officers due to his incompetence, "Potemkin villages" and fawning. It's no surprise that he imitates eloquent Putin because he is awfully vain. Yet, his speach is written by somebody else because Shojgu himself is not able to produce a long coherent sentence when he speaks spontaneously.

@jumbam9938 I lived in Russia in 90s. Shojgu was sitting in his Tuwa and nobody knew his name in Moscow.

@edennis8578 I have seen Shojgu several times on TV when he tried to put two sentences together or when he was outraged by the usage of complicated language by other members of the presidential council. It was funny. Then I read some articles of the former Russian officers. This is enough for me to make my mind about this "politician". I didn't know that Shojgu is a watercolorist. Evidently his œuvres are not displayed anywhere.
