I am teaching Ukrainian refugees German language. The majority of them think, after they have lived several months in this country, that Germany supports the war in Ukraine because it has run out of Turkish cleaning women and desperately needs cheap and disciplined labour to clean closets and build roads. They don't believe, apart from a few simpletons, in nice shiny slogans said by politicians and dispersed by German mass media. Yet, the Ukrainians need to learn the language, take hard jobs and keep quiet while NATO is busy devastating their country.😢😢😢😢
