As a Russian I can only confess that we cherish Lithuanians and don't want any harm for them. I remember how we, the Moskovites, demonstrated in support of their independence in the 90s wishing them all the best for the future. I am very sad that Lithuanians absorbed Russo-phobic propaganda and elected - the majority of them! - this hostile to Russia government. As Moscovite I will support now a millitary decision over Kaliningrad supply routes and even the annexation of the Lithuanian territory for this transportation way Sorry, dear Lithuanians, you haven't behaved decently and misused Russian passion and good will.

@gtengineer1967 Of course Russia made many cruel things in its long history! But those you can find in history of ANY nation. The aim for us, ordinary people, is to live in peace and mutual respect with neighbours, not to breed hatred and seek revenge. This is right on personal as well as on national level. After 2014 Ukraine made literally everything that peace and respect won't be achieved. Unfortunately, I see no other outcome left to Russia other than to use its military force to protect its national interest. It's very tragic.

Globalist don't care if the wars are lost. Their revenues and life stile don't depend on states. Welfare states have become charity foundations for population, globalists however derive their profits from global financial markets where they get profits on rising and falling bids.

The actions of the Israeli-USA politics is not without ligic. Read Harari, a Jewish gay historian, to understand it: the aim is to reduce consumption and population on the planet and to save pristine, unpolluted, beautiful nature for a few reach and intellectually able humans (Übermenschen), those who are worthy to enjoy it.

Decent people can't survive in the contemporary toxic environment of the US power circles. Would any person of dignity keep silence about their corruption, machinations, cruelty?!! Never

@gtengineer1967 anti-Russian sentiments are not natural but bred up result of NGOs activities financed by CIA, FBI and other sources like Soros Foundation. They brainwashed the population because they had stable funds for that. In Ukraine or Georgia, for example, these NGOs dispersed false historiographies that show Russia being responsible for all evils and their own nation for all achievements of the history. Besides the West supported extreme Neonazis that intimidated others. In Ukraine servicemen of Neo-Nazi paramilitary battalions, like Azov, had very good salaries, used nice buildings, recreational centers, cool uniform etc. Everything levels better than an ordinary Ukrainian people. And they got free hands for intimidating people.

@gtengineer1967 German government decided in 1933 to intimidate, discriminate and annihilate Jews on its territory. Do you consider it was acceptable because Germany was a sovereign state?! Do you think that if there were a strong Jewish state on its border it would care about German borders more than about German Jews? Shelling of Donbass, state policy of humiliation to Russian language, culture and history or people with socialist or communist views made Ukraine an ILLEGITIMATE state. I think that Russia awaited too long with this "military operation". It was clear already in Poroshenko's term that Ukraine has criminal, irresponsible and deceitful government. It would be less casualties if Putin helped DNR and LNR to liberate their towns in 2014. Ukrainians who are ashamed of their politicians are now victims of the land criminal governance. My deepest condolences to people in Vinnitsa, the same as to people in Donetzk or Belgorod! No to war and to criminal governments that don't respect human rights of its citizens! 🕊️

@gtengineer1967 about "3 Russian invasions": Unfortunately, history is distorted to suit current political aims. Afghan socialist government didn't suit the USA and they decided to support radical islamists who fought against it. Islamist didn't accept secularisation and women rights. Afghan government of Taraki officially asked USSR for military help and it was given after some long hesitation. (Don't forget that at that time Ukraine was part of the USSR and its governor, Mr. Brezhnew, was a Ukrainian himself!) In the western media this operation ( which was not only military but mostly civil: help in establishing the education, health care systems and infrastructure) is called "invasion". The muslim radical movement however grew up (due to the US aid) and incorporated more and more brainwashed peasants. (Similar to Ukraine actually. I just hoped that Ukrainians are smarter. Failed.) In Georgia Russia gave protection to nations (Ossetians and Abkhasians) that were discriminated and annihilated by the dominant nation (Georgians). It's a humanitarian war. Russia felt moral responsibility to protect smaller nations against agression. It has no gains from this war. Again the reasons and aims of this military operation are lied about in the West. The February "invasion" of Ukraine was also out of acute necessity. As a Moscovite I can say that I had many hopes for Ukraine before 2014. I hoped that it will became an example of european democratisation and economic prosperity that Russians would like to follow. That Ukraine show Russia the way. Yet, Ukraine became more and more corrupt, hostile and unreasonable state that was sliding into deeeper and deeper moral and economic abyss. I would say that Ukraine crushed my "perestroika" dream. Probably it was a fullish naive dream.

@gtengineer1967 war is the very last method in resolution of conflicts between states. Most states respect their neighbours and search for mutually acceptable agreements. Others are military weak. In my view Russia, in spite of its military superiority to the most of its neighbors, always tries its best in peaceful diplomacy. Its patience with abusive and openly hostile Ukraine was far beyond world average level. Yet, Ukraine didn't reason itself but was becoming more and more impudent. It become de facto a NATO base country which was going to launch an attack on Russian people. OSCE monitoring in February 2022 demonstrates this vicious development. Putin gave many warnings. Ukraine played deaf or insolent. Military operation became unavoidable. Unfortunately, shelling of military objects brings also civilian victims. Though I grieve about Ukrainian soldiers and officiers +who have no hatred in heart) as well. They are sons of my Soviet folk ❤️

@gtengineer1967 Ukraine was going to launch an attack on Donbass. It actually started it - see the link I mentioned - it continued to increase shelling AFTER Putin announced that Russia recognised DNR and LNR and signed an agreement with them. So the Ukraine's pappeteers knew perfectly well where this shelling was heading. If the Ukraine's president and others out of the government didn't realise it - I doubt it seriously!! - it's consequences of putting clowns, script righters and PR specialists into responsible state positions.

@gtengineer1967 I don't compare Ukraine with mighty fascist Germany of 1941. Ukraine has not such millitary, economic or intellectual power. But its attitude towards Russians is similar to Nazis attitude to Jews. Germans also made Jews first responsible for all evils in the history, showed despise to their culture, discriminated. Only later on they started to kill them in millions. Everything has its trajectory of development. I am sure that Ukrainians would come to KZs for Russians if their national state were the strongest in Europe as Germany was in 1941. I am absolutely sure of it.

@gtengineer1967 Law is a very complex subject. Serial murders also find some words in laws to defend their actions. With this "Ukrainian territory" argument it's just the same. P.S. I wrote "Ukraine was about to attack Russian people" not "Russia". You just take "people" and it would be enough.

@gtengineer1967 Every person or country tries to use laws to its advantage. Russia isn't unique. The fact is that Russia didn't want an advantage only for itself. Its position was reasonable: to accept autonomy and respect people of Donbass and not to join NATO. Ukraine can perfectly remain souverain being a federation and without NATO bases. Austria is an example. Ukraine preferred to act selfishly and disregard needs of others. Ukrainian "leaders" knew that this decision will harm ordinary people and can be retaliated by military actions. They thought they can behave in such an irresponsible way because the USA bosses cover them. I am very sorry for ordinary Ukrainians who are hostages of their arrogant, cruel and corrupt politicians.
