You know I wonder whether Belarus' divorce from Russia will push it closer to Visegrad countries like Poland? @soly409 It is and will remain part of the EU. However it has slid backwards in terms of its democratic institutions. For instance, the judiciary has been coopted by the ruling party. The video explains in more detail than I can in a comment. But the EU has given Poland serious warnings for these things. So although they will stay in the EU, the may become more politically isolated because of this.
