  1.  @leonine5681  definitely will do. I’ve gotten a ton of feedback today about this and am definitely going to start weaving personal stories into future videos. I have a great story about the time that the NYT wrote a negative review of Soylent. Long story short, we ignored it and it still drove like $50k in sales. Really valuable lesson for me, even negative press can get you new customers because not every reader will agree with the writer’s conclusions.

  2. I’ve started 3 companies now, the first was a total failure, the second is Soylent.com ($80m total funding), and now I’m running Lucy.co ($15m funding). Planning on covering my work more in future videos!

  5. Thanks for flagging that! I’m still tweaking my audio. Going to spend some time coming up with a solid workflow for audio normalization. YouTube is supposed to adjust it automatically, but something must be throwing it off. Hopefully the next one is better!

  9. It’s a great story. There is a longer video that’s entirely archival footage from PBS called “The Moon Man from Massachusetts”. It’s a bit slow, but more detailed obviously. Available on YouTube if you’re interested in learning more.
