if I had alien tech I would NEVER share it with anyone, I would reverse engineer the shit out of it and make trillions. also IF, and thats a big IF, if many alien civilizations ARE actively observing earth, they would probably be curious about us in a biological and anthropological way they would want to catalog and document everything they find on earth, since I imagine no 2 planets are really the same, can u imagine the TITANIC amount of data they could get? plants, insects, human cultures, .....my mind would LITERARY melt if I was an alien that found a new planet.
