The calm, 'high road', 'ignore the bully and he will go away' energy of the Obama administration was wrong-headed and ineffective then, and is not what we need now. America needs Harris' "Kick the fucking door down", "You break into my house you're gonna get shot" energy. Trump is openly talking about turning troops on American citizens, rounding people up, concentration camps, and basically repeating Hitler's playbook. Harris and Walz are more than justified in getting "heated". In fact, they have an obligation to demonstrate righteous anger in the face of the Republican menace. Being placid and calm about it is to belie the very existential danger facing Americans today. I hope Harris does more of this going forward and grows more and more comfortable calling Trump and his supporters out on their bullshit in plain terms everyone understands. We need less of Biden's appeasing Neville Chamberlain and more of Harris' Churchill.
