  1. Seeing this movie in the theater in 1986 when I was a teenage student in Mankato, MN was akin to seeing the original Star Wars in the theater when I was 11 years old. I don't think anything today can replicate that experience. The thought that any studio today would have the arrogance to remake this movie approaches blasphemy and is destined to absolute failure.
