  1. Perfect opening inventory. Well written, capable, and awesome female characters are a long tradition in American Pop Culture. But the horrible shit we've been getting from Disney/Marvel/Star-Wars/etc. for the last decade has been the product of lazy, talent-bereft, agenda-driven, and socially retarded executives and creatives working in the mainstream entertainment industry. Thank god for the democratization of creative production made possible by relatively cheap and accessible movie-making technology, and many options for ready distribution, that enables truly talented independent artists to publish compelling works of creative integrity.
