  1. Yah, and back before keys, the holes were in line so flutists could play it to either side as needed. The 1st key was on foot joint, so that could be adjusted, too. Next they added holes for G# on both sides, then plugged up whatever side needed to be closed due to handedness. So, precedent is there. It’s flute convention week, so let’s keep the information flowing! 😎
