  1. A lot of farm land was 'nationalised' personally by Mugabe and his wife. Ostensibly to take it away from the colonizers. They didn't seem to care if it was actually owned by colonizers. I know of at least one which the owner gave it to the workers and left, but it was a beautiful piece of land. So Mugabe's wife nationalised it same kicked the workers of the land and converted it for her own use.

  3.  @MFKR696  I was actually trying to be a bit tongue in cheek. Your point should have been self evident... I'd much rather get hand to hand with some idiot with a lancer and the damn chainsaw bayonet than some idiot with a Brown Bess musket and a 21” steel spike bayonet. That would be a 70" spear, or just shy of 6'. Way less stupid. A baker rifle would be even worse, because the sword bayonet is more versatile. And longer.
