@MFKR696 I was actually trying to be a bit tongue in cheek. Your point should have been self evident... I'd much rather get hand to hand with some idiot with a lancer and the damn chainsaw bayonet than some idiot with a Brown Bess musket and a 21” steel spike bayonet. That would be a 70" spear, or just shy of 6'. Way less stupid. A baker rifle would be even worse, because the sword bayonet is more versatile. And longer.
