I'm English and despite everything unafraid to claim it, because the greed, corruption and overall nefarious misdeeds of successive British (as for some no doubt egotistical demoralising reason) we English are evidently not allowed are own government (we have to share with the whole of the UK which is the much diminished yet strangely stealthy influential British Empire) none of that is my doing and anyone who understands democracy knows that though the Demos actually exists, democracy is a most enduring and very seductive & successful lie, 'The illusion of choice', really falls short of actual freedom after all, though I am of the mind that that's where freedom truly is born, exists and yes maybe possibly even dies!
