That's something similar to what 8 said, there are billions of them around us, a load them can cure diseases we deal on the daily, but like you said alot more research needs to be done.

Probiotics, antibiotics and Bacteriophages are the few keys that can help keep the human immune system straight and not get confused with diseases, also GMO Car T-Cells also help by destroying the diseases and then by assimilating into their new host system too (that's if it works though).

Mate this is what i want the NHS in the uk to start working on, there's so many great paths that can be taken with modified viruses' , they can be (one day) modified to to destory cancer (targeted) or to treat resistant bacteria diseases in domesticated animals and humans. There's just a bounty full of opportunities with bacteriophage. Sort of reminds me of eczema and how eczema can become resistant to constant treatment (if you're not careful).
