  1. The black User interface is way better than the apple music UI to be honest, who in their right mind wants the app that has a high contrast colour in the UI, that alone is seriously annoying.

Spotify offers a free tier service which puts ads in place after a session of half an hour of music(each time you play music, an ad will play after that session), Premium service Spotify is basically when you pay for the service and ads will be removed and have the freedom to listen to as many songs/playlists as much as you want without interruption. Plus you get to listen to songs and albums before the Spotify free tier users too. This helps Spotify build revenue from ads and premium users, essentially Spotify is offering choice, while Apple is offering one choice (premium service). Persoanlly I prefer Spotify, I've used both the free tier service and the premium service many times.
