I'm so lucky, I have a lot of melanin and eczema, but my eczema doesn't act harsh or attack me like that anymore, it used too when I was a toddler, child and in my teens/late teens too, but as I got older I learned what my body likes or finds acceptable and what cream and medication it loves. Since then my eczema only returns when I haven't been taken care of my skin properly (I nourish my skin with vaseline intensive care cream/lotion) it is like it feeds my skin with all the nutrients it has been asking for really.
