My relatives do this to me, comparing me to someone else and it always knocks my confidence a lot (especially when they compare my ASD to some one else that have ASD as well and they keep on forgetting every person that has ASD experiences it uniquely differently). Other than that i wholeheartedly agree with everything you have said in your video.

I agree with that, focus on you. Forget the "should".

I've recently (last year) been diagnosed with ASD, the funny thing something in me for years (throughout my whole life was telling me that I'm worked slightly differently) I had delayed speech when I was a child ( so I didn't speak at all) until I grew a little older, also my motor neuron Wass delayed and only (slightly) got better as I got older too, my confidence and courage was very bad as well. My understanding of things was also very bad when I was a child and in my teenagerhood/adolescent phase. I was also quite sensitive to sound when I was a child. Also my social queues were not the best as well etc. So a lot my ASD traits were all there from early but I had no idea that I had them until my very late 20s (I'm 29M). When I got my results and the health team told that I have ASD, I was absolutely relieved, because in the education system no one (the professionals) knew what exactly what I had, they always said I had learning difficulties, but never really told me why and what exactly it was. But yeah you're right every person with ASD is unique. In my case my ASD became more profound as I got older.

I have ASD, was diagnosed at 28, I'm now 30 years old. I do not take any medication for my condition at all.
