  3. The only thing Putin is hesitating is his nukes, once that goes off. All bets are off of the table, especially if The USA sees Putin even considering making that decision. It will all come to diplomatic decisions being made (Zelenisky and Putin) will have to talk (even if the war goes for several more years or even months.
