  1. Some parents of disadvantage backgrounds do extremely well to raise their kids right, but as always unfortunately the media and society don't recognise that. I agree incompetent parents and previous parents before that one are the reason that vicious cycle keeps on rolling. It is really sad when I see so many young people get murdered by very bad people. Councils really need to do more, 2. The London met needs to step up, 3. Father's also need to play a better role in raising their kids, 4. Society needs to change to get rid of gangs, 4. The national government also needs to do better than this, because they are totally disconnected from these people lives. By the way I'm 27 and I'm from Islington(London) which is also a affluent/poor borough/area my area used to be extremely dangerous, until the police, communities and charities got involved and crime went down quite alot, now I'm seeing the same thing that I've experienced when I was you get happen to these new young bloods (but this time it is a lot worse) a lot of them do not even make it to 18 or 20 let alone 16 these days, I'm fortunately lucky that my mother raised me right (I'm not academically smart), but what actually allowed to stay of danger was listening to my mother and even my uncles, grandmother, youth workers, to even the police and even religious leaders (I'm not religious by the way), but yh all these things have influenced how the way I could live a very peaceful life in London without crime being part of my life (it never was). These kids and their parents need to find away to raise these kids in aways that can make them survive, because Tories are not going to save them from this ongoing gang wars and drugs. The only way out is if the kid is not involved in that life style and 2. Isn't easily influenced by too. Also being poor can be damaging, but it also not an excuse to choose the life of crime either, education is key, life experience is key, great role models is so important these days, the youngers kids are lacking quality models, they're looking up to UK drill rappers way too often and gang members.
