This isn't new, the christians most likely worship an alien(god/jesus) than a actual human beings too, there's no way jesus was human and a demi god at the same time to perform all of the stuff he did, it is either he was human and a simple man or a alien hybrid sent by a celsetial being that humans can't comprehend and will never understand, same thing with alien worshippers, they'll never ever be able to understand beings who far beyond our lil brains to understand how the universe works and how sentient life bears fruit etc-etc.
