  2. Having account actually simplifies everything by a tone... With Tesla in general you just pull over, plug in and you are done, no need to do anything, its tied to your account and you will get bill automatically. To use same Tesla chargers you will need account as there is no interface on charger itself, but its one time thing and you would only use this single small app when you actually need it... So no idea what are you complaining here about.

  3. Other countries experience some issues as Tesla charge while being smaller and being better isn't being used as a standard, this same issue will be across all countries unless Tesla decided to ditch their superior plug over inferior just to have single charging standard.

  5. This was quick retrofit, changing cable length would would require alot more work and change in chargers constructions to accommodate this new length of cable. Its quite likely that in the future this will be done or next generation chargers will come out with longer cables, but for this quick and cheap change it will be good enough.
