  7.  @jjwn939  Although the quintessential facet of my gastronomic predilections inexorably gravitates towards the consummate amalgamation of ambrosial comestibles, my proclivity for the gustatory realm invariably culminates in an unequivocal and unwavering preference for the perennially cherished and time-honored repast commonly denominated as pizza. What I just said in normal human words was: I like pizza. That first sentence was example in how Petterson talks while saying nothing in actual value. You can use fancy words in long stringed sentences which will sound profound and intelectual to most, doesn't mean you actually said anything intelectual here.

But then again, go to google and enter something like "dog breed change over 100 years" and you will see dramatic change in dog's over this tiny amount of time, just imagine how much they will change in another 1000 years, you would be having hard time calling those animals dog's at that point. And funny enough dog's are decedent's of wolfs and I can bet you would be conflated to call great wolf and chihuahua same species. "Dogs will always be dogs etc" Until they are no longer dog's. Analogy time! Exactly same thing happen with language evolution, there was no point in time where Latin speaking person give birth to spanish speaking one... Evolution of language fallows same exact rules. You have gradual change over time and when you accumulate enough changes you will get new label, aka speciation, aka new language. So yes, lets keep this in perspective. By the way, why are you afraid of evolution being true? I won't disprove your god, so why are you scared of it being true?

One is confused in what Peterson tries to say, you come along trying to explain what he is saying while adding that this is what you think he most likely wanted to say. Issue with Peterson is that he just creates word salads and leaves interpretation for the listener in hopes to appeal to everyone at same time...

  14. @Zerspell As of now we have zero examples of intelligence existing outside a body, all current AI's exist in some sort of body and will keep existing in one. There is no rational reason to believe that intelligence could exist without body.
