  1. Why? What difference does it make? All modern cars are being heavily controlled by computers, while that "ipad" is just a interface for you, all of those cars can still work and drive with that screen being broken. Its same story as we had with blackberry phones and their fans wanting buttons... Just look where we are now and just look how many "wants" buttons back...

  2.  @Klako-ls6yt  You are repeating same blackberry story here. Was it better to have physical buttons on your phone? Yes, but only when you wanted to type things, but for general purpose those became useless, cluttered entire front face, minimized real estate of the screen and simply introduced more failure points, one buttons fails and its basically no longer usable. There are no perfect solutions here, but fact is that majority of buttons in your car are used once a year or even less often.
