  2. That actually will work better than it does in +C temps. Air is more dry and it should not freeze up on you that often. Tho no idea what happens with created water, does car keeps heating it up to prevent freezing?

  5.  @joshuaa3075  You will spend 60 buck instead of 5 to save like 20 minutes of your time. But then, is your 20 minutes worth more than 55 bucks? And most people charges at home overnight, so that "refueling" time is completely irrelevant. And just FYI every hydrogen car has multiple tanks and every hydrogen tank has expiration date written on them, which is around 5 years. Same thing for fuel cell itself. Maintenance costs will skyrocket after first 5 years of usage on top of you spending tens of thousands on hydrogen every year.

  7. People want BEV's, thing is that people want good BEV's. Tesla for example are still ramping up production and sells all the cars they produce without any issues. Why? Because those are actually good cars for reasonable price. Hydrogen for passenger cars will never be a thing due to long list of issues relating to it.

  10.  @tws57tws57  Yes, you can make H from water, by having specialized equipment and putting in crap tone of energy, so its not like you can produce H in your car and even having equipment at your home isint really a reasonable option.

  12. Then why its not a future? After all this is ancient technology, combustion engine invented in 1806, fuel cell in 1966, yet we still have no meaningful impact.

  13. Hydrogen is most abundant element in the universe and we have equally ZERO of it on earth... Hydrogen is being produced, not extracted from ground... You have to put in crap tone of energy to convert water into hydrogen which then could be used to move your car.

  16. Because 100% of hydrogen needs to be produced and you will be wasting electricity on making hydrogen to use that to make electricity.

  17. Is it really being scammed when you never bother to double check if you have options of refueling nearby before you buy it? Its like buying actual rocket and then saying that you got scammed because you need bunch of permissions and specific fuel to launch one...
