So basically you don't want to help out for those who lost their ability to move on their own... EVERYTHING can be used for immoral things, EVERYTHING. So its not an issue with technology, it would be issue with people who decided to use it that way.

This specific technology requires for your skull to be open. There are other technologies which can do similar things where you "simply" put on special "hat", but those ones have their own drawbacks. Honestly its hard to say how much I would want to install technology into my head if I actually don't need it, but it would be just for convenience. Technology improves fast, having brain surgery to get tech which gets outdated in 2 years sounds pointless. But this is HUGE thing for those who lost control over their bodies, I think it would be hard to find those who would not want to get one of these implants to get some autonomy back.

He can't feel/control anything below shoulders. Neuralink at the moment allows to perform some basic actions, like moving mouse and clicking, so at the moment separate action list is relatively small, but its just for now as this is the first human to have this technology and he will be used to actually learn what can be done with this V1 of Neuralink

Well FSD would still need to handle it appropriately, if camera is covered then either FSD isn't engaging at all or performs on way slower speeds

@cafl9844 I mean, yea, if the one which is essential for driving is covered, but there are multiple of those and those do tend to overlap. If FSD will not know what's going on around it then it will stop working, just like every single system in the world. Duno what point you tried to make here. It will not work if it can't work.

There would be no reason to fake it as FSD already performs on that level and this was in specific place with specific destinations, so it could have been trained specifically to handled this place particularly well. There might have been possible remote access in case car gets stuck, but it would be huge thing for them to fake it. I would be suspicious too if we didn't had FSD on the roads already.

@zachmoyer1849 Yea, and pushing technology forwards by creating this need to have bases on different planets will only create new tech everyone could be using. Heck, there is HUGE list of tech NASA made for space which is now being used by everyone on entire planet.

This robotaxi is extremely simplified version of model Y and still costs 30k, no chance in getting something even cheaper and make it bigger than that. That said, I have no idea why robotaxi is so expensive

2 meters? in which reality do you live in? Normally opening doors would require way more space to be comfortable to get in and out, doors like these do save some required space and avoids issues where it would open into a high curb or something like that.

@soundslight7754 Clearly lizard people are not deleting your comments now... So what happen? Youtube can and does remove comments if they break basic rules, especially if you have links to other sites or even youtube itself, so no links in replies. It could remove it if you have stronger language in those too. Or something else. Its a mystery what criteria they actually have. Point being, stop being paranoid, just make simple comments and it will be seen.
