The Collatz Conjecture is proven false by the single "counter example" of the number infinity which stays at infinity ad infinitum whether deeming it odd and multiplying by three and adding one, or deeming it even and dividing by two ad infinitum.

@CK ME - Che, the number infinity exists independently of the number 9 just as the number 1 also exists independently of the number 9. In the interim, I am simply wonderfully hungry and hope you, CK, and others reading my comment at the top, also have a healthy appetite too. So how are you ?

@CK ME - Che, your not being able to reply appropriately over the past 5 hours since being greeted here means, CK, you're "Stat COVID-19 Test" *positive* indicating that it's possible you're unwittingly contagious (i.e. pre-symptomatic) needing to call your doctor and to self-quarantine per CDC guidelines.
