  1. There never really was a time when governments served the people. Governments throughout history and more or less right now always served themselves and privileged elites with the people being an afterthought.

  2.  @JohnKFossil  Same here in Canada with the making of Ottawa as the capital which is situated in between the 2 largest cities in the country, Montreal and Toronto along a river that divides its 2 most populated provinces, Quebec and Ontario.
