  4. Wrong! Most of Africa had numerous communist/socialist regimes post-independence. Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Congo-Brazzaville, Benin, Madagascar, Somalia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Seychelles, Equatorial Guinea, etc. All but Seychelles were train-wrecks.

  11.  @jeffmoore9487  LOL. Try Cuba in comparison to Barbados, the Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago, Costa Rica, Panama, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and even the Dominican Republic. Cuba is light years behind all of those countries. Being the better in comparison to Honduras and Guatemala is nothing to brag about. I'm surprised you didn't mention Cuba's fellow socialist in arms, Nicaragua.

By the way, Haiti has way more claim to being oppressed by America and the West than Cuba and Haiti literally had no friends after independence whereas Cuba had the Soviet Union.
