And since when did crumbling buildings, frequent blackouts and chronic shortages constitute high quality of life? <despite literally the USA barring Cuba from the world economy due to the embargo> The embargo is nothing compared to the loss of Soviet and Venezuela aid to make up for an economy Castro destroyed with price control and wholesale nationalization.
