Plus, he didn't add a million immigrants and refugees to the overall population in any given year. He had the cajones to impose Visa restrictions on countries which Trudeau removed.

Mom-and-pop property owners not legally able to set the rents accordingly to cover basic operating and maintenance costs forced to sell and get out of the market while those who can afford to put with the bureaucracy come to fill the void. <Rents rise 2.3% housing develops don't care to make affordable units.> Affordable units = financial loss.

  22. Thanks to government intervention that made it costly and all but completely illegal to build and maintain. Plus, it was never the private market's responsibility to provide affordable housing anyway.
