@charlespayne1707 And a lot of the problems Black people have been suffering post-CRA have been under Democrat leadership. Broken families with no father around (Johnson), mass incarceration (Clinton, and Biden was the actual genius behind the 1994 Crime Bill), the erosion of Black wealth (Obama). And speaking of Obama, police brutality reached an all-time high under him. Ghetto housing (any Democrat mayor).

@mutualaltruism6658 Not really. Land redistribution is not a conservative economic policy but par for the Marxist/socialist/communist course.
2
Tyranny is perfectly fine if the tyrant in question is left-wing/Marxist/socialist/far-left/communist/freedom-fighter/liberator/etc.
2
Or Tanzania under Nyerere turning it from one of the top food-exporters to the world's #1 foreign-aid recipient thanks to his forced collectivization policies.
2
@JagmasterGeneral12374 That makes him communist. It's not that far off from Lenin, Castro, Mao, etc. used to do. It falls in line with general state control and collectivization.
2
@EugeneAyindolmah Land redistribution falls in line with the state control consistent with socialism/communism. Seize the land, kill the "kulak/bourgeoisie" farmers and redistribute it to political henchmen. It's also called collectivization.
2
The only Black people Mugabe gave land to were regime loyalists. The Black people who were actually competent were killed off.

When yesterday's liberators become tomorrow's oppressors.
1
Zimbabwe = Venezuela without the oil or the high crime.
1
They were no more severe than the sanctions the West imposed on Rhodesia at the tail end of Ian Smith's rule.
1
His people = himself, his family, friends and regime staff. The average Zimbabwean could eat grasshopper for all he cared.
1
The White farmers were to Zimbabwe what the kulaks were to Lenin-era USSR.
1
Especially the UK.
1
@DieGamerAG But he was socialist. He was a Marxist. He was far-left like most communists.
1
Duvalier. Haiti.
1
@Chris Ramos And judging by your last name, you'd probably also get deported back to Mexico or whichever Latin American country you're from.
1
@avorysamsin5509 No. Why don't you do that?
1
The only people who see him as a hero are either ZANU-PF loyalists or not from Zimbabwe.
1
@muslimmetalman Social democrat/democratic socialist = Marxist. Same difference. After all, it was a term coined by an actual communist.
1
@LjuboCupic1912 Both of which are communist ideas as a way to repackage communism.
1
Lee Kwan Yew (Singapore).
1
That's if you were part of Mugabe's entourage.
1
The UN even then was ran by left-wingers and West-haters.
1
Namely the Labour Party-led UK. This was a product of its decolonization efforts.
1
@mxgregoly8969 His people as in who? The average Zimbabwean (at least the ones who knew how to farm) the ZANU-PF members and supporters?
1
Like Thomas Sankara and like Robert Mugabe.
1
@mizanulhaque8476 Paul Kagame embraced free-market capitalism. Robert Mugabe, like many post-colonial African leaders, rejected it in favor of Marxist socialism.
1
With the 5th Brigade trained by North Korea.
1
He set a negative precedent for post-independence Africa.
1
Himself and Party henchmen.
1
Yes.
1
Socialism summed up.
1
@littleoldlady873 No. They're capitalist welfare states. And Sweden hasn't been socialist since the '70's.
1
@JagmasterGeneral12374 Since when did commies ever give anything back to the people? They always used the people to justify their tyranny.
1
But Mugabe was more like Hillary as he actually lost an election that he rigged.
1
His own people being his political henchmen.
1
@john_smith_john Somalia is yet another failed socialist country. Its absolute freedom came after Barre got ousted and exiled.
