What he's saying is that the only reason why Lenin is seen is such a positive light is because he didn't live long enough to have more of his policies materialize and become the monster that he truly was like his successor, Stalin. So far, the only atrocity that happened under his watch was the Red Terror.

If anything, Lenin was a role model to every other (usually leftist) tyrants who claim compassion and empathy for the poor but are really just exploiting their plights for power. Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Mugabe, Nkrumuh, Mengistu, Kim Il-Sung, Castro, Chavez, Ortega, Burnham, Ceausescu, etc.
