Ukraine has to give up for this war to end, and as long as the USA helps Ukraine they won't quit. By dumping it on the EU Ukraine will be forced to face reality. Russia has no interest in ruling over non-Russians, so there won't be a revival of the USSR.

Eastern Ukraine are all ethnic Russian, they want to join Russia. That is a different case. Easy to rule over Russians than non-Russians. This is why Putin won't touch Western-Ukraine or Europe in general.

  34. @harrychufan  The oreshnik hypersonic missle spooked Nato when it was launched last year. Defense systems couldn't even pick it up, it was so fast. And it left nothing of its target. Russia does keep up, and the USA would have an advantage if it were to befriend Russia. Not only for trade and security, but also China. If the US hadn't gone so aggressive against Russia these past 3 years, China wouldn't had gotten stronger. We see that with BRICS+, which is a threat to US hegemony.
