@atropabelladonna Our grandparents lived that way. They were happy with less. Feminism has increased unhappiness in society. I am not saying women shouldn't study or work, but you need to make choices. Ultimately, all women crave children and a large family. Stressing out over cleaning the house and holding good appareances is in their DNA. A career does not make a woman happy, if you have to believe the thousands of stories of women who regret choosing their career over settling down.

@josh2482 Listen, prices were more affordable back then because only men worked. Women were masters of men's earnings, children and the household, while men fullfilled their societal duties and expected a nice and obedient wife and children, a clean House and warm meal. When feminism became the norm this system went broke. Now both sides work, and this system of old can't work. Or the man has to earn 6 figures or even millions, but how likely is that to happen?

@aelitastone5629 Women would always stay behind with the kids. This is still the case in parts of the world. The West has lost the plot, a career will not fullfil you.
