Since the Ukraine war started the EU is trying to act like a hegemone, against far superior adversaries like Russia, China and BRICS. Truth is, the EU is not a hegemone. BRICS is also competing and destroying EU competition, Volkswagen might become a fully Chinese company in the future. Because simply speaking: the EU can't compete and is unprepared. It fully de-coupled from Russia, which was critical for EU industries, and antagonizes China in the name of Ukraine and the USA. Green tech will not save their industries.
